FOLLOW ME

Some invitations are simply impossible to refuse.

There is something about the last stretch of summer that makes you want to stay outside just a little longer.

The sun hangs lower over the horizon.

The evening breeze rolls in from the water.

The sand has finally cooled beneath your feet, and somewhere ahead of you, your companion has already decided where the two of you are going next.

He walks a few steps.

Stops.

Looks back.

And there it is.

That unmistakable expression every dog person knows.

Well? Are you coming?

Of course you are.

Because some of life's finest moments begin when a dog convinces you that whatever he has discovered over there is considerably more important than whatever you were doing over here.

That feeling became the inspiration for our August Dire Wolf Project™ design.

Follow Me

At the center of the design stands an American Dirus™ dog on a peaceful beach as the setting sun turns the water gold.

He has already started down the shoreline, but he pauses long enough to look over his shoulder and make sure you are coming.

Behind him, waves roll gently toward shore while the evening sky glows with the final warmth of a summer day.

And above it all are two wonderfully simple words:

Follow Me.

There are no appointments waiting beyond the edge of the picture.

No schedules.

No buzzing phones.

There is simply a beautiful evening, an open shoreline, and a dog who seems quite certain that the best part of the day is still somewhere ahead.

That is precisely what we wanted this shirt to feel like.

Wear a Little Piece of Summer

Our August Follow Me design is printed on a premium Gildan unisex crew neck T-shirt made from a durable cotton/polyester blend.

For this design, we chose four soft coastal colors that complement the warm sunset artwork:

• Seafoam Green, shown above
• Baby Blue
• White
• Sand

Sizes are available from Small through XXXL.

The relaxed unisex cut makes it an easy shirt for wandering the beach, walking the dog, sitting beside a campfire, exploring a new trail, or simply carrying a little bit of summer with you wherever the pack happens to roam.

The Dog Usually Knows the Way

Perhaps that is why I love this design so much.

Dogs have an extraordinary ability to pull us into the present.

They investigate the trail we would have walked past.

They stop for smells we cannot detect.

They notice the squirrel we somehow missed.

And every once in a while, they look back at us with an expression that seems to ask why on earth we're taking so long.

Maybe we should listen more often.

So, while there are still long evenings left in August...

while the water is warm...

while the sunsets linger...

and while your companion is standing somewhere ahead wondering why you haven't caught up yet...

there are really only two words left to say.
